Entering
and scooping the establishment you’ve chosen is a technique that all
ladies hot to pick up a trail must master. Scooping is a very subtle
technique that involves a scan of the establishment to check out the
clientele. Scooping will become second nature to you once you gain some
experience in the art of seduction.
Bring
forth all your powers of astute observation, add that dash of women’s
intuition and go for it! Look for the fun, happy people; forget the losers.
Target these winners in your line of scope and head for them. Try and place
yourself in a position where you can view the entire establishment. Remember
to see and be seen. Smile, laugh and toss your head as you scoop the room.
Let the clientele, especially those eligible and willing males, know that
you are fun, available and are ready to pick up the trail.
Ready, Aim,
Fire
The
opening part of your strategy must include eye contact – and lots of it.
Let him know that you are interested. Establish eye contact and hold it for
several seconds, look away and then look back again in his direction. Smile
as you look at him. This game may go on for a bit. If at some point he
refuses to hold your glance, then shop around. There are a lot more fish in
the sea. If you find he’s a willing target, then make the first move.
The Approach
You’ve
now got a guy in your field of sight and are ready to pull the trigger.
However your first move is to approach him and make first contact. One way
is to walk towards him but stop at some point and order a drink. He just may
meet you halfway and pay for that drink himself. Otherwise, buy him a drink.
Ask him directly, “Can I buy you a drink?” or get the bartender to
deliver him one. A raise of the glass will acknowledge your gesture and set
the stage for some get-to-know-you conversation.
Reel Him In
Your
catch of the day is almost on the plate. Keep him interested, let him know
that you are a fun and wonderful person to be around. Smile and acknowledge
what he says. Above all, do NOT speak about topics that you so eagerly share
with your girlfriends – periods, support pantyhose, ill-fitting brassieres
and the like. It’ll be sure to send him packing before anything serious
has begun! If you’re in a dance club, comment on the music and give it
some swirl and twirl on the dance floor. Make him wonder just how far your
athletic ability and stamina goes. An offer of “Shall we go some place
more quiet?” provides a chance to continue your encounter elsewhere.
“How about a cup of coffee?” Play your cards right and he’ll never
smell that java brewing.
